Munster VFW Post 2697
No one Does More for Veterans
Congratulations to the Munster VFW Post 2697 for being named an All-American Post for the 2nd year in a row and 4th out of the last 5 years!
Veterans of Foreign Wars
Munster, Indiana Post 2697
Are you a veteran interested in joining the VFW to interact with fellow veterans who know and understand the sacrifice you've made? Or, are you a civic minded person interested in supporting our nation's veterans and active duty military? Either way, you can find out any and all the information you'll need. Munster, Indiana VFW Post 2697 invites you to search our website, get in touch with us and help support our mission to help our community and fellow veterans.
What do we do?
The Munster VFW Post 2697 meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm at the Munster Town Hall (1005 Ridge Rd). The post holds various fundraisers throughout the Tri-Town area. Proceeds from these fundraisers go directly back to our community and our fellow veterans. The Post sponsors various student scholarship programs such as Patriot Pen and Voice of Democracy. We conduct Flag Retirement ceremonies, lead off the Munster 4th of July Parade with a "BANG" and lead the Memorial Day Remembrance at Community Veterans Memorial.
In addition to the support the Post offers to our community, our greatest priority goes out to our active duty members as well as any veterans who have given their blood, sweat and tears to serve our great nation.
Are you up to the challenge to assist our fellow veterans?
This is your VFW post in action.
From solemn remembrance services to marching down Main Street celebrating our nation's birthday. Imagine being a part of the action.
